In the context of their security collaboration with the Israeli occupation the Palestinian Authority (PA) security forces on Sunday kidnapped a member of the Islamic Jihad Movement and tried to arrest another in Jenin province.
The Islamic Jihad Movement stated that PA intelligence elements raided the house of Mohamed Shaibani in Arraba town southwest of Jenin on Sunday and arrested him.
32-year-old Shaibani was released in 2005 after spending nine months in an Israeli jail. Before that he had spent about five years in different Israeli prisons.
Islamic Jihad also said that security forces from the PA intelligence broke into and ransacked the house of Hazem Shaibani at dawn and withdrew empty-handed.
Luckily Hazem was not at home when the forces stormed the house.
