In the context of their security cooperation with the Israeli occupation state the Palestinian Authority (PA) security agencies have summoned two Palestinian citizens for interrogation and continued to detain others unlawfully.
In Ramallah the PA preventive security apparatus summoned an engineer called Najeeb Mafarjeh for interrogation at its headquarters on Sunday.
Mafarjeh was already detained by the PA and Israel and spent time in their prisons.
In Salfit the PA intelligence service summoned Sheikh Mohamed Mar’ie a resident of Qarawat Bani Hassan town for interrogation.
The PA intelligence service in Nablus in turn continues to detain a university student called Imad-Eddin Bisharat after ordering him to come for questioning last Tuesday.
His detention by the PA intelligence occurred only two weeks after his release from an Israeli prison.
The PA intelligence also refuses to comply with “four court verdicts” ordering the release of prisoner Shadi al-Nammura who has been in the central prison of Jericho for about 185 days with no legal grounds. He is an ex-detainee in Israeli jails.
In addition another prisoner called Idris Hasan has been in jail illegally for many days. The PA intelligence recently extended his detention for another 15 days for the second time. Hasan is a student at al-Quds University.
For its part the PA preventive security in Qalqilya refuses to release Sheikh Lu’ay Farrij who has been in jail with no reason for about 49 days.
In Tulkarem a young man called Saqer Mannaa has been held in a PA jail with no legal basis for about 50 days.
