The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) urged the Palestinian Authority (PA) President Mahmoud Abbas to cease normalization with Israeli war criminals.
The PFLP slammed Abbas over his meeting with Israelis involved in war crimes against the Palestinians dubbing the meeting a violation of national consensus and of the latest resolutions adopted by the Central Council of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO).
The PFLP called for an urgent reaction to such “absurd” meetings which will only bring more “tragedies” to the Palestinian people.
It added that normalization with the Israelis and Abbas’s latest meeting with Israeli war criminals involved in bloodshed against the Palestinians are just groundless.
The PFLP called for a national standpoint by the Palestinian factions and civil institutions in the face of normalization meetings.
It further pushed for dissolving the PLO’s Committee to Communicate with the Israeli Society for its involvement in normalization with the Israeli occupation and its antagonism towards the International Movement to Boycott Israel.
The PFLP said the fact that the Israeli leaders who met with Abbas are from the so-called peace camp does not cancel their responsibility in war crimes against the Palestinians.
The Front concluded by saying that such meetings serve Israel’s interests.
