The Palestinian Information Center (PIC) has made a new staggering Facebook achievement recently after its subscribers on its Arabic page surpassed 4000000.
In this regard director of the PIC Yehya Abu Hassan has expressed his thanks to everyone who has become a fan on the Facebook page of the center.
“We in the management of the Palestinian Information Center cannot but extend our sincere thanks and deep gratitude to our Palestinian people who have always been steadfast and patient whether in our beloved homeland or abroad as well as to our Arab and Islamic depth that stretches from the far east to the far west for their precious trust in our website and social media pages” Abu Hassan stated in remarks to the PIC.
“It could be a happy coincidence that the number of our Facebook page subscribers has reached over four million fans supporters and followers in such days that mark the 20th founding anniversary of the Palestinian Information Center” the PIC director added.
He also said that such achievement “reflected the public’s confidence in the credibility and objectivity of such great media establishment.”
The director also paid tribute to the PIC crew including reporters editors and photographers for all their hard work and hailed them as “heroes and unknown soldiers” affirming that the PIC became well-known all over the world thanks to the efforts of all its employees.
The PIC was founded on December 1 1997 as a news website concerned with the Palestinian cause and the Arab conflict with the Israeli occupation.
It is considered the only Palestinian multilingual website which is translated from Arabic into seven other languages.
