OCCUPIED JERUSALEM (PIC)– The Palestinian Information Center has launched its Turkish language website on Sunday to bring to eight the number of its languages.
The PIC had started with the Arabic language site back in December 1997 then was followed by the English site a month later then the other languages followed: French Persian Urdu Melayu and Russian.
The Turkish website was launched to meet the rising concern in Turkey with the Palestinian question and the growing solidarity with the Palestinian issue among Turkish-speaking people that numbered more than 70 million.
The PIC has been steadily growing in popularity as shown by the increasing numbers of those surfing the internet in its capacity as a gateway for those wishing to get first hand information on the Palestine cause.
