RAMALLAH (PIC)– Dr. Hassan Khreisha the second deputy PLC speaker on Wednesday suspended the PLC session called for by PA chief Mahmoud Abbas due to lack of quorum.
Abbas called for the session to discuss the issue of his “emergency” government and latest Palestinian developments.
The session started in the presence of 41 MPs and the absence of 43 which compelled Khreisha to call it off.
The largest parliamentary bloc the Hamas-affiliated change and reform bloc had announced that it would boycott the session because it was illegal explaining that Abbas is not entitled to call for a PLC session.
