PMRS and PHR reveal Israeli human rights violations in Gaza war

RAMALLAH (PIC)– The Palestinian medical relief society and physicians for human rights held Monday a news conference in the headquarters of the EU parliament in Brussels to reveal the results of investigations conducted by an international independent committee into human rights violations and war crimes committed by Israel during its war on Gaza.

Dr. Mustafa Al-Barghouthi a Palestinian lawmaker and the secretary-general of the national initiative in addition to multinational medical delegations from South Africa Germany Denmark and Netherlands participated in the conference.

The investigations showed 80 war crimes and violations committed by IOF troops during the Israeli war on Gaza such as assaults on and wanton killing of civilians delaying and preventing evacuation of the wounded attacks on emergency medical teams while on duty and the use of internationally-banned weapons.

The medical relief society and physicians for human rights will hold a second news conference Tuesday to reveal some of the Israeli violations committed in Gaza.

In another related context the international coalition to combat impunity intends to submit new documents to the international criminal court on war crimes committed by Israel in Gaza.

Head of the coalition May Al-Khansa said Monday in a statement to Islam Online that the documents include UN reports Israeli officials’ statements and soldiers’ confessions.
 
For this purpose a delegation of European lawyers headed by Khansa decided to travel Tuesday to The Hague in Netherlands the seat of the international court.

The delegation will meet a number of the court’s officials to discuss the developments in the complaint submitted earlier by the coalition about human rights violations crimes against humanity genocidal crimes and the blockade on Gaza.
 
The coalition head pointed out that the new documents also prove that Israel still commits human rights violations and crimes against humanity in Gaza adding that the coalition intends to complain about the siege on Gaza as one of the Israeli war crimes.

The coalition accuses 100 Israeli US and British political and military figures of participating in the war crimes in Gaza.
