Deputy Head of the preparatory committee of Palestinians Abroad Conference (PAC) Majed al-Zeer revealed that the Balfour Apology Campaign has reached 1000 signatures within 24 hours.
In a press statement al-Zeer hailed the British popular interaction with the campaign after just one day of its declaration.
He also stressed the need to activate the popular activism abroad in support of the Palestinian cause.
The Balfour Apology Campaign (BAC) has just launched its petition which calls on the British government to apologize for the Balfour Declaration and lead peace efforts in Palestine.
The campaign which is initiated by the Palestinian Return Center (PRC) urges the British government to acknowledge responsibility for its colonial crimes in Palestine following the infamous declaration.
The campaign aims to reach 100000 signatures by August 16.
