GAZA (PIC)– The Palestine Scholars League has asked the Arab rulers to prioritize the issue of occupied Jerusalem and its holy Aqsa Mosque during their upcoming summit meeting in Doha by the end of March.
The PSL in a statement on Sunday said that the Israeli occupation authority was continuing its violations in the occupied holy city topped by wiping its Arab and Islamic landmarks without any Arab or Islamic reaction or attention to the seriousness of those aggressions.
The policy of demolishing Jerusalemite homes with the aim of forcing the emigration of inhabitants coincides with the increasing excavations in the vicinity and underneath the Aqsa Mosque it elaborated.
The League warned that the “Zionist schemes” had reached an unprecedented degree of seriousness that necessitated immediate action to save the holy city and its blessed Aqsa Mosque.
It said that the continued Arab and Islamic silence towards the “Zionist crimes and violation of Islamic holy shrines” would encourage IOA to go ahead in its schemes that target destroying the Aqsa Mosque and establishing the alleged “Temple” in its place.
