The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Ramallah announced on Friday that 12 deaths 599 new cases of the coronavirus and 2148 recoveries were recorded during the past 24 hours.
The ministry confirmed in the daily epidemiological report of coronavirus that the recovery rate of the coronavirus reached 94.6% percent while the rate of active infections reached 4.3% percent and the death rate was 1.1% of all infections.
The new infections were distributed as follows: Nablus 52 Jenin 35 Qalqilya 6 Tulkarem 12 Ramallah and Al-Bireh 22 Tubas 4 al-Khalil 22 Bethlehem 2 and the Gaza Strip 404 the ministry added.
It pointed out that there are 102 critically ill patients who have been admitted to intensive care units including 29 who have been placed on ventilators.
Regarding the vaccination campaign the total number of people who received the corona vaccine in the West Bank and Gaza Strip reached 266380 including 193720 who received the two doses of the vaccine the ministry concluded.
