Mai Al-Kailah the Palestinian Minister of Health announced that 12 deaths 811 new cases of the Coronavirus and 370 recoveries had been recorded during the past 24 hours in Palestine.
Minister Al-Kailah added in a press release on Sunday that the new deaths were recorded for 4 citizens in al-Khalil and a senior citizen in Bethlehem. Two citizens from Nablus a woman from Qalqilya another woman from Tulkarem a citizen in Shuafat refugee camp and two in Gaza.
The new infections were distributed as follows: al-Khalil (150) Nablus (41) Bethlehem (54) Qalqilya (21) Ramallah and Al-Bireh (110) Jenin (47) Jericho and Al-Aghwar (14) Tubas (13) Salfit (9) Tulkarem (27) the Gaza Strip (100) the suburbs of Jerusalem (82) and Jerusalem (143).
The new cases of recovery were recorded in: Jenin (8) Tubas (5) Tulkarem (13) Salfit (17) Jerusalem (267) and Gaza Strip (60). The recovery rate of coronavirus reached 69 percent while the rate of active infections reached 30.4 percent and the death rate was 0.6% of all infections.
Kailah indicated that there are 37 critically ill patients who have been admitted to intensive care units including 9 who have been placed on ventilators.
