The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced that 8 deaths 692 new cases of coronavirus and 400 recoveries were recorded during the past 24 hours.
Mai Al-Kailah the Palestinian Minister of Health said in a press statement on Friday that the new deaths were recorded for two female citizens from Nablus and a woman in al-Khalil a man from Bethlehem another man from Qalqilya and a citizen from Khan Yunis and two deaths in al-Tur and Ras al-Amud in Occupied Jerusalem.
The new infections were distributed as follows: al-Khalil (131) Nablus (15) Bethlehem (59) Qalqilya (18) Ramallah and Al-Bireh (97) Jenin (34) Jericho and Al-Aghwar (29) Tubas (7) Salfit (14) Tulkarem (49) the Gaza Strip (47) the suburbs of Jerusalem (58) and Jerusalem (134).
The new cases of recovery were recorded in: al-Khalil (185) Tulkarem (18) Tubas (12) Salfit (10) Jerusalem (127) and Gaza Strip (48). The recovery rate of coronavirus reached 70.3 percent while the rate of active infections reached 29.1 percent and the death rate was 0.6% of all infections.
Kailah indicated that there are 40 critically ill patients who have been admitted to intensive care units including 7 who have been placed on ventilators.
