Mai Al-Kailah the Palestinian Minister of Health announced on Friday that 81 new cases of the coronavirus and 152 recoveries were recorded during the past 24 hours.
Kailah confirmed in the daily epidemiological report of coronavirus that the new infections were recorded as follows: Tulkarem 2 Jenin 2 Ramallah and Al-Bireh 2 al-Khalil 2 and the Gaza Strip 73.
She added that the new recoveries were distributed as follows: Jenin 2 al-Khalil 2 and the Gaza Strip 148.
Kailah said that the recovery rate of the coronavirus reached 98.3 percent while the rate of active infections reached 0.6 percent and the death rate was 1.1% of all infections.
She pointed out that there are 6 critically ill patients who have been admitted to intensive care units.
Regarding the vaccination campaign the minister noted that the total number of people who received the corona vaccine in the West Bank and Gaza Strip reached 541515 including 388876 who received the two doses of the vaccine.
