The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Ramallah announced on Saturday that 5 deaths and 433 new cases of Coronavirus had been recorded while 224 infected people had recovered during the past 24 hours.
Dr. Mai Al-Kaila the Palestinian Minister of Health said that 67.9 percent have recovered from the disease while the rate of active cases reached 31.5 percent and the death rate is 0.6 percent of the total cases.
She stated in a press release that the new coronavirus infections were distributed as follows: al-Khalil 34 Nablus 75 Bethlehem 51 Qalqilya 25 Ramallah and Al-Bireh 46 Jenin 6 Jericho and Al-Aghwar 18 Tubas 13 Tulkarm 12 Gaza Strip 110 and the suburbs of Jerusalem 43 while there was no information about new infections in Jerusalem during the past 24 hours.
The Minister indicated that there are 26 critically ill patients who have been admitted to intensive care units including 5 of them have been placed on ventilators.
