OCCUPIED JERUSALEM (PIC)– Sheikh Mohammed Hussein the Mufti of Jerusalem and Palestine has denounced the IOA decision to build two new settlement outposts grouping 20000 housing units in occupied Jerusalem.
Sheikh Hussein in a press release on Saturday said that the decision by the highest political echelon in the Hebrew state exposed the occupation’s policy in imposing de facto situations and in judaizing the holy city after forcing migration of its indigenous inhabitants.
The IOA is building thousands of housing units for Jewish settlers and at the same time is tightening the noose round the Palestinians through the racist separation wall and heavy taxes the Mufti charged.
He also condemned IOA practices against holy shrines in the 1948 occupied lands affirming that the IOA was thus violating all heavenly and earthly norms and legislations that ensured freedom of worship freedom of access to holy shrines and freedom to maintain those sacred places.
Sheikh Hussein condemned in this regard the IOA’s “ferocious campaign” against Palestinian civilians the latest being the murder of an unborn Palestinian infant in his mother’s womb during an IOF incursion into Jenin and castigated the world community for remaining silent vis-à-vis such practices.
