Mai Al-Kailah the Palestinian Minister of Health announced on Sunday that one death 420 new infections of coronavirus and 1256 recoveries were recorded during the last 24 hours.
Kailah stated in a press release that the death case was recorded for a 42-year-old citizen from Surif town in the al-Khalil. The recovery rate from coronavirus reached 84.6 percent while the rate of active cases reached 14.7 percent and the death rate was 0.7% of all infections.
She added that 364 new cases were recorded in the northern provinces and 56 in the southern provinces.
The new infections were distributed as follows: al-Khalil (86) Nablus (87) Bethlehem (30) Qalqilya (8) Ramallah and Al-Bireh (33) Jenin (48) Tubas (4) Jericho and Al-Aghwar (18) Salfit (2) Tulkarem (33) the Gaza Strip (56) and the suburbs of Jerusalem (15).
Recovery cases in the northern provinces were 1180 while 76 recovery cases were recorded in the southern provinces.
The new recovery cases were recorded in: al-Khalil (156) Jenin (18) Tulkarem (17) Tubas (12) Salfit (7) Qalqilya (46) Bethlehem (193) Ramallah and Al-Bireh (627) and Gaza Strip (76).
Kailah indicated that there are 51 critically ill patients who have been admitted to intensive care units including 13 who have been placed on ventilators.
