Heads of the Palestine Scholars Association (PSA) in Gaza and Lebanon have met with Azzam al-Ayoubi who was re-elected a few days ago as secretary-general of the Islamic Group in Lebanon.
Marwan Abu Ras head of the Association in Gaza and Bassam Kayed head of the Association in Lebanon visited Ayoubi in his office and congratulated him on his re-election as chairman of the Group.
The Palestinian scholars talked with Ayoubi about the duties he would undertake as leader of the Group in light of the challenges in the region in general and the Palestinian and Lebanese arenas in particular.
The two sides also agreed to maintain contact with each other and work together to promote all forms of the Islamic Da’wah in Palestine and Lebanon.
