The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Ramallah announced on Saturday that 13 deaths 1399 new cases of the coronavirus and 1545 recoveries were recorded during the last 24 hours.
The ministry confirmed in the daily epidemiological report of coronavirus that the recovery rate of the coronavirus reached 90.6 percent while the rate of active infections reached 8.3 percent and the death rate was 1.1% of all infections.
It added that the new infections were distributed as follows: Qalqilya 13 Tubas 8 Nablus 97 al-Khalil 8 the suburbs of Jerusalem 3 Tulkarem 28 Ramallah and Al-Bireh 73 Jenin 25 Salfit 3 Jericho and Al-Aghwar 1 Bethlehem 8 and the Gaza Strip 872.
The ministry pointed out that there are 153 critically ill patients who have been admitted to intensive care units including 43 who have been placed on ventilators.
Regarding the vaccination campaign the ministry said that the total number of people who received the corona vaccine in the West Bank and Gaza Strip reached 169169 including 43533 who received the two doses of the vaccine.
