The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Ramallah announced on Friday that 19 deaths 1826 new cases of the coronavirus and 1270 recoveries were recorded after conducting 9357 examinations during the past 24 hours.
The ministry confirmed that the recovery rate of the coronavirus reached 89.4 percent while the rate of active infections reached 9.5 percent and the death rate was 1.1% of all infections.
It added that the new cases were distributed as follows: Qalqilya 75 al-Khalil 377 Nablus 306 Jerusalem suburbs 82 Bethlehem 165 Tubas 48 Tulkarem 111 Jericho and Al-Aghwar 38 Ramallah and Al-Bireh 357 Jenin 69 Salfit 52 and the Gaza Strip 146.
The ministry pointed out that there are 150 critically ill patients who have been admitted to intensive care units including 37 who have been placed on ventilators.
