The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Ramallah announced on Sunday that 49 new cases of the coronavirus and 23 cases of recovery were recorded during the past 24 hours.
The ministry confirmed in the daily epidemiological report of coronavirus that the recovery rate of the virus reached 98.4 percent while the rate of active infections reached 0.4 percent and the death rate was 1.1% of all infections.
It added that the new infections were distributed as follows: Tulkarem 7 Salfit 2 Bethlehem 2 Jenin 1 Nablus 1 Ramallah Al-Bireh 1 al-Khalil 1 and the Gaza Strip 34.
The ministry pointed out that there are 11 critically ill patients who have been admitted to intensive care units.
Regarding the vaccination campaign the total number of people who received the corona vaccine in the West Bank and Gaza Strip reached 568289 including 401052 who received the two doses of the vaccine.
