The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Ramallah announced on Saturday that 83 new cases of the coronavirus and 183 recovery cases were recorded during the past 24 hours.
The ministry confirmed that the recovery rate of the coronavirus reached 98.2 percent while the rate of active infections reached 0.7 percent and the death rate was 1.1% of all infections.
Regarding the vaccination campaign the total number of people who received the corona vaccine in the West Bank and Gaza Strip reached 516068 including 371787 who received the two doses of the vaccine.
Meanwhile Mahmoud Abbas the Palestinian Authority (PA) President issued a presidential decree declaring a state of emergency in the Palestinian territories for thirty days starting from Saturday to reduce the spread of the coronavirus.
