Palestinian activists in Syria refugee camps on Thursday called on the UNRWA to act urgently and provide the Palestinian refugee families with more financial and food aid.
The calls came after Palestinian refugees complained about the deteriorating economic conditions in Syria through social media as the UNRWA supplies don’t meet the basic needs of the Palestinian refugees.
The activists have also called for improving the health sector in the refugee camps reiterating the importance of delivering medical aid in addition to distributing school supplies.
Around 438000 Palestine refugees remaining in Syria have been displaced at least once within Syria. Over 90 percent of them remain in continuous need of humanitarian aid to meet their most basic needs.
