The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) arrested a Palestinian young man after violently breaking into his family home in Sinjil north of Ramallah at dawn Friday.
Two other youths were injured as clashes erupted in the village of Kafr Qaddoum east of Qalqilya after being violently stormed by large numbers of IOF soldiers.
The IOF destroyed the village’s main water line during the raid.
Over the past week 102 Palestinians including ten children and a woman were detained in Israeli raids in different parts of the West Bank and Jerusalem.
In a separate incident a group of Jewish settlers stormed Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in Occupied Jerusalem under Israeli police protection and attacked a Palestinian family in an attempt to force them out of their house.
The settlers assaulted the Salem family members which led to the outbreak of violent clashes. A Palestinian woman was injured in her hand during the attack.
The 11-member Salem family who have lived in a house in western Sheikh Jarrah for more than 70 years received a notice of eviction last year stating that they must vacate the house after a Jewish settler NGOs lodged a claim to the property.
The forced expulsion was temporarily halted by an Israeli court on December 23 after a police request following protests and confrontations between Palestinians and Israeli forces.
But it is now set to take place at an unspecified date this month with the family unable to make further appeals.
Since then Salem family has been living in fear of forced expulsion at any moment from the home where its members have been living in since 1948.
