The Israeli occupation army announced on Wednesday morning the arrest of a Palestinian at the Al-Jib checkpoint near the occupied city of Jerusalem for allegedly holding a knife in his procession
Israeli media sources reported that the Israeli soldiers stationed at the Al-Jib checkpoint northwest of Jerusalem stopped a Palestinian car that approached the soldiers claiming its driver was holding a knife in his procession
A spokeswoman for the Israeli police claimed that the Israeli soldiers arrested a Palestinian “suspect” after he approached the Al-Jib checkpoint while holding a knife.
The arrested Palestinian was immediately taken for interrogation the Israeli sources added.
No injuries were reported in the alleged attack.
