Palestinian boy seriously wounded in Sair

Al-Khalil – A Palestinian boy was seriously wounded Thursday evening when IOF troops raided the village of Sair and refugee camp of Arroub to the east of al-Khalil and clashed with Palestinian youth according to Palestinian medical sources.

Palestinian youths met the invading forces with stones while the IOF troops responded with live bullets rubber coated bullets and teargas.

The confrontations which took place in the southern neighborhood of the village of Sair resulted in the wounding of a 17-year-old boy in the head. Another boy suffered suffocation as a result of inhaling teargas.

Palestinian medical sources described the condition of the wounded 17-year-old as serious.

A 19-year-old was seriously wounded in the same area in a similar incursion by IOF troops a few days ago. The boy is still lying in the intensive care unit of the Ahli Hospital in al-Khalil. Medical sources described his condition as very serious as the bullet which went through his forehead penetrated 4 centimeters deep into his head.
