BEIT LAHYA (PIC)– A Palestinian boy who was wounded more than ten days ago when a shell fired by IOF troops at the borders of the Gaza Strip hit his home in Beit Lahya has succumbed to his wounds on Friday.
Palestinian medical sources at the Kamal Odwan hospital announced the death of 16-year-old Hamza al-Masri died of wounds he sustained more than 10 days ago.
Hamza was wounded on 20th May along with all members of his family when IOF troops shelled his home in Beit Lahya in the northern Gaza Strip. His little brother Shadi is still in the intensive care unit at the hospital.
Dr. Muaweyah Hasanin Director General of Emergency Services at the PA Health Ministry said that the death of Hamza brings to 50 the number of Palestinian deaths as a result of the latest Israeli onslaught which started on 17th May. There are also 182 wounded Palestinians 28 of them in serious condition according to Dr. Hasanin.
