Palestinian child wounded in car-ramming attack by Israeli settler

Sunday 30-April-2017

A Palestinian child was critically injured on Sunday evening after he was hit by a settler driving east of Yatta in the southern occupied West Bank province of al-Khalil in the second such attack on the same day.

A PIC news correspondent quoted eye-witnesses as stating that an Israeli settler rammed his car into the Palestinian child Ahmed Mohamed Amour on a bypass road near Khilet al-Miyeh east of Yatta in southern al-Khalil.

The child sustained serious wounds as he was violently run over by the settler who was driving at a high speed in the area. He was rushed to a hospital in territories occupied in 1948 (Green Line) for urgent treatment.

A few hours earlier an Israeli settler rammed his car into four-year-old Palestinian child Murad al-Razem near Qufeisha residential building in central al-Khalil. The Israeli attacker fled the scene leaving the child bleeding on the ground. The child was transferred to al-Khalil Public Hospital.

Over 600000 Israeli settlers residing in illegal settlement outposts built on Palestinian lands in the West Bank and Occupied Jerusalem have been involved in terror attacks against Palestinian civilians mostly children.
