Palestinian citizens from Bani Na’im town and nearby villages in eastern al-Khalil were able to force the Israel occupation forces (IOF) to remove a tent that had been set up by Jewish settlers on a privately owned tract of land.
According to local sources a group of settlers deployed a tent in Khilat al-Forn area between the towns of Bani Na’im and Yatta but later the IOF had to remove it after local landowners and activists rushed to the area and clashed with the settlers.
Khilat al-Forn area is located in the south of al-Khalil city and near the illegal settlement of Pnei Hever which was built in 1982 on annexed lands.
