The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) erected a make-shift checkpoint at the entrance to the southern West Bank city of al-Khalil.
According to the PIC field reporter several Palestinian vehicles were stopped and searched in both directions.
A university student was arrested at the checkpoint and immediately taken blindfolded to unknown detention center.
The detainee was later identified as Sa’ad Tamimi 22 from Bethlehem.
