Palestinian prisoner Muhannad Mathana a resident of Bethlehem in the Occupied West Bank has been on hunger strike for four days protesting the unjustified extension of his administrative detention.
Mohjat al-Quds Foundation said that the Israel Prison Service decided to extend Mathana’s detention for six months for the second time without charge or trial.
Mathana 28 was immediately sent to solitary confinement when he announced his hunger strike on 5 March.
Mathana a father of one child has been detained administratively with no charges brought against him since 2 September 2019.
