A meeting is expected to be held on Monday between Palestinian factions so as to discuss ways to respond to the U.S. President Donald Trump’s recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.
Member of the Central Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) Tayseer Khaled said representatives of Palestinian factions are to meet on Monday to discuss the upshots of Trump’s move and the best ways to respond to it.
Fatah spokesman Osama al-Qawasmi also said that an important meeting will be held by the Palestinian Authority leadership in Ramallah over Trump’s move.
