A Palestinian farmer was injured after being attacked by a group of Israeli settlers on Sunday morning while working in his land in al-Tuwani village south of al-Khalil city.
Amjad Rab’i told Quds Press that settlers from Ma’on settlement brutally assaulted his brother Mousa Rab’i 42 while he was in his land.
Rab’i said that his brother suffered fractures and bruises in different parts of his body and was transferred to a hospital in Yatta town for treatment.
He added that the settlers fled once the ambulance crews arrived in the place.
Rab’i explained that Ma’on settlers repeatedly attack Palestinian farmers in al-Tuwani village in an attempt to intimidate them and push them to abandon their lands and leave the area.
Al-Tuwani is a small Palestinian village located southeast of Yatta town south of al-Khalil city. Most of its residents live in caves as the Israeli occupation forces regularly demolish their houses.
