A Palestinian young man was killed and 11 others injured at daybreak Wednesday in fierce clashes with the Israeli occupation forces in Tamon town south of Tubas in the northern West Bank.
21-year-old Mohamed Besharat was pronounced dead shortly after a bullet fired by the Israeli army penetrated his chest.
3 protesters were also hit with live ammunition and three others with rubber bullets. Another five youths choked on teargas.
The occupation forces unleashed random barrages of live fire towards unarmed Palestinian protesters resulting in critical injuries. Several protesters were rushed to hospitals among them Besharat who succumbed to his wounds moments later.
Overnight Israeli troops rolled into Kafr Kalil town south of Nablus sparking violent clashes with the Palestinian locals. A few hours later occupation soldiers raided Salem town to the east.
