A 21-year-old Palestinian girl Tamara Ayesh was moderately injured on Tuesday evening after she was hit by an Israeli settler in a speeding car in the southern West Bank province of al-Khalil.
A medical source revealed that an Israeli settler hit the university student with his car at the entrance to al-Aroub College on Route 60. She was rushed to al-Ahli Hospital in al-Khalil for urgent treatment.
Israeli settlers residing in illegal settlement outposts built on Palestinian lands in the West Bank and Occupied Jerusalem have been involved in hundreds of hit-and-run incidents against Palestinian civilians.
