Three Palestinian homes belonging to Uwaidah family in Silwan town in Occupied Jerusalem sustained cracks due to the ongoing Israeli excavations beneath residential neighborhoods.
The family told Wadi Hilweh Information Center that Israeli excavations have escalated over the past three days in an unprecedented manner leading to widened fissures on the walls and roofs of their homes which house 16 people including 10 children.
The family pointed out that they called the police who summoned municipality teams. Urgent eviction and closure orders were issued after checking the three homes and classifying them as dangerous buildings.
