A Palestinian youth was injured when Israeli occupation forces (IOF) opened fire at Palestinian citizens in Kafr Qaddum village in the West Bank district of Qalqilya on Friday.
Activist Murad Shtewi said that a Palestinian young man was wounded by gunfire in the arm when the IOF quelled Kafr Qaddum’s weekly march against the settlement.
Shtewi said that the injured man was moved to a hospital for treatment while dozens of Palestinians choked on tear gas fired by the IOF and were treated in the field.
He added that the IOF soldiers raided a number of Palestinian homes smashed their doors climbed their rooftops and used them as lookouts.
The residents of Kafr Qaddum stage a demonstration every Friday to protest the ongoing Israeli settlement expansion on their lands.
