A Palestinian citizen on Saturday evening was wounded by Israeli gunfire at the main entrance to al-Arroub refugee camp north of al-Khalil in the occupied West Bank.
According to local sources violent clashes broke out between Palestinian youths and Israeli soldiers at the entrance to the camp where the latter intensively fired tear gas grenades and live ammunition
A citizen called Mohamed al-Asees suffered a bullet injury in one of his legs during the events.
Meanwhile the Israeli occupation forces set up a makeshift checkpoint at the main entrance to Kharsa village south of Dura city and intercepted cars for security checks.
