A Palestinian young man at dawn Wednesday was injured when Israeli soldiers opened fire at him in the Old City of al-Khalil at the pretext of his attempt to stab them.
The Israeli occupation police claimed that a 22-year-old young man tried to stab soldiers at a checkpoint near the Ibrahimi Mosque in al-Khalil.
The young man was moderately injured after soldiers at the checkpoint shot him in his lower extremities.
According to the Red Crescent the wounded young man was transferred to Soroka Hospital for medical assistance.
