A Palestinian young man was injured during violent clashes in al-Khalil with the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Sunday evening.
According to local sources a young man suffered a rubber bullet injury during clashes between local youths and Israeli soldiers in Halhul town north of al-Khalil.
The clashes broke out after hordes of settlers escorted by soldiers stormed the town at the pretext of performing rituals at the shrine of Prophet Yunus.
The IOF also stormed as-Samu town in al-Khalil spread through its streets and obstructed the movement of the local residents in order to secure the access of settlers to an archeological site.
In the east of Nablus several young men rallied on some roads and blocked them with burning tires before clashing with soldiers who provided protection for scores of settlers who entered the city to perform rituals at Joseph’s Tomb.
