A Palestinian young man on Friday evening was injured when a Jewish settler deliberately rammed his four-wheeler into him and fled the scene in southern al-Khalil in the occupied West Bank.
A local source told WAFA news agency that a settler driving a quadricycle hit 21-year-old Hussein al-Harini in Saroura area near the village of Tawaneh in al-Khalil and escaped.
The young man suffered a fracture in his right leg according to a medical source.
Chief of Tawaneh village Mohamed Rabei said that the ramming assault was part of a series of attacks carried out by the Jewish Price Tag gang against the Palestinians in the West Bank.
He appealed to local and international human rights groups to intervene and work on providing protection for the local residents of Masafer Yatta area in al-Khalil.
