Sunday 13-January-2019

Gaza Ministry of Health announced that a Palestinian man died on Sunday evening of wounds he sustained during the Great March of Return weeks ago.

The Ministry said in a brief statement that Anwar Qdeih 33 was shot by the Israeli occupation forces in the neck.

The Great March of Return was launched on 30 March 2018 along the border between the Gaza Strip and the 1948 occupied Palestinian territories with two aims: demanding the Palestinian refugees’ right of return and pressuring Israel to lift the blockade on Gaza.

The Israeli occupation army has killed dozens of peaceful protesters and injured thousands others by live ammunition and teargas bombs.
