A Palestinian young man was badly injured on Thursday evening when a Jewish settler rammed his car into him at the main entrance to Beit Ummar town north of al-Khalil in the occupied West Bank.
The young man who was identified as Ra’fat Abu Arrar suffered medium to serious injuries.
Eyewitnesses said the settler deliberately hit the young man on the road and fled the scene.
Every once in a while Jewish settlers carry out vehicle-ramming attacks on Palestinians in the West Bank.
However the Israeli occupation authority does not investigate such incidents or move to arrest any suspect when the victim is Palestinian.
