A Palestinian youth was injured on Tuesday evening in a hit-and-run accident with a car driven by an Israeli settler to the west of Bethlehem.
Local sources reported that a young man from Beit Ummar town in al-Khalil was seriously injured in the accident that took place near Husan village.
Activist Yousuf Abu Maria told Safa news agency that Khalil Abu Maria 32 was hit by the car while selling vegetables and fruits on the road leading to Beitar Illit settlement.
Abu Maria pointed out that an Israeli ambulance transferred the injured youth to Hadassah hospital in Jerusalem adding that his heath condition was described as serious but stable.
