A Jewish settler driving at high speed ran over a Palestinian citizen on Tuesday evening and injured him on a road in the west of Ramallah city in the occupied West Bank.
According to local sources a settler rammed his car into a citizen on at the main entrance to Ni’lin town and fled the scene.
The citizen whose identity is still unknown was rushed to a local hospital for medical assistance.
Instead of going after the settler to arrest him the Israeli occupation forced blocked the main entrance to Ni’lin and prevented local residents from going in or out.
Last Monday a similar vehicular attack by a settler happened in Khirbet al-Qanoub area south of Sa’ir town in the north of al-Khalil province.
The victim was identified as 32-year-old Subhi Shalaldeh. He suffered injuries and bruises in different areas of his body and received medical assistance at al-Khalil Hospital.
In recent days Jewish settlers intensified their attacks and crimes under military and security protection against Palestinian citizens and their property in different areas of the West Bank and Jerusalem.
