A Palestinian citizen on Monday evening suffered injuries when a horde of extremist Jewish settlers attacked Palestinian vehicles in western Nablus in the occupied West Bank.
Local official Ghassan Daghlas said that a group of settlers hurled rocks at Palestinian cars traveling on the road between Nablus and Qalqilya particularly at the junction of Sarra town.
One passenger identified as Mahmoud Daghlas was injured in his face and eye. He is a resident of Burqa town in the northwest of Nablus.
In a separate incident a number of settlers on the same day seized and plowed swaths of land belonging to Palestinian citizens from Aqraba town in southern Nablus.
Aqraba mayor Farouq bani Jaber said that settlers from the illegal settlement of Gitit in southern Nablus plowed privately owned lands in at-Taweel area in the east of the town.
Bani Jaber added that a fight broke out between the settlers and the landowners before Israeli soldiers intervened to protect the settlers and arrested a local farmer called Raad bani Fadel.
The mayor affirmed that the landowners cultivate their lands every year and have documents proving their ownership of their lands.
