A Palestinian citizen was shot and injured by the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Sunday evening shortly after the latter stormed Ramallah’s northeastern village of al-Mugheir in the central West Bank.
According to local sources the IOF sealed off the main access road to al-Mugheir village on claims that Israeli settlers’ cars had been stoned.
The occupation soldiers subjected Palestinian civilians and vehicles passing through the area to exhaustive inspection and showered Palestinian cultivated lands with gunfire and teargas canisters.
A Palestinian citizen sustained injuries and others choked on teargas gas in the assault.
Around three dunums of agricultural crops and a vehicle owned by the Palestinian citizen Osama Abu Alya were burned to a crisp as a result of the heavy gunfire and grenades unleashed by the occupation soldiers.
