The Israeli Prison Service (IPS) moved the Palestinian injured prisoner Azmi Nafa’a from Jenin to Ramla prison hospital while he is still suffering gunshot injuries.
Family sources affirmed to the PIC reporter that the IPS informed them last night of its intention to transfer Nafa’a to Ramla prison clinic for medical treatment.
Nafa’a is still suffering from gunshot injuries after being shot and injured in his face before his arrest at Zaatara checkpoint for an alleged hit-and-run attack more than a year ago.
Since then he underwent a number of medical surgeries.
Nafa’a was sentenced to 20 years for injuring four Israeli soldiers at Zaatara checkpoint in November 2015.
