Palestinian judge gunned down

KHAN YOUNIS (PIC)– A Palestinian judge was gunned down Wednesday morning in the southern Gaza Strip city of Khan Younis at the hands of unknown armed men PA security sources said.

They added that the gunmen in a speeding car sprayed the judge Bassam Al-Farra who is also a field commander of the Qassam Brigades the armed wing of the Hamas Movement with machinegun bullets killing him on the spot.

Locals said that Farra who was in his twenties used to work as a judge in Islamic courts and was one of the young commanders of the Hamas’ armed wing.

They noted that the judge enjoyed respect and popularity in Khan Younis in view of his good manners and reputation.

A state of anger and tension spread in the city after spread of the news of Farra’s assassination.
