A Palestinian child was injured on Thursday when Israeli police forces stormed al-Issawiya district in Occupied Jerusalem and attacked local residents.
According to local sources Israeli policemen fired volleys of tear gas and stun grenades at angry young men in Issawiya which led to the injury of one child.
Meanwhile the police broke into and ransacked the house of a Palestinian citizen called Tawfiq Muhaisen in the district after detaining his wife Hayat.
Hayat was arrested earlier after she was summoned for interrogation by the police. Her son Ismail has been in detention for about 10 days.
