The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) kidnaped a Palestinian citizen and wounded another one during a raid in Jenin City on Thursday.
According to local sources a number of special Israeli troops stormed the eastern neighborhood of Jenin City aboard a Palestinian civilian car and kidnaped a citizen identified as Sedqi Mar’iee later after encircling his house.
Military reinforcements were also rushed to the area to help the special unit withdraw from the area.
Meanwhile the IOF clashed with dozens of angry local youths and exchanged fire with resistance fighters during their presence in the area.
One young man reportedly suffered a bullet injury in the leg during the clashes and was taken to a local hospital for medical assistance.
The Hebrew media claimed that Mar’iee was arrested for his involvement in the killing of an Israeli officer called Noam Raz in a shootout with Palestinian gunmen in the West Bank on May 15 2022.
